Bayley Hazen Blue Burger With
This is my first recipe from the wonderful world of cheese. I have always loved cheese, and as I’ve gotten older I am loving the funkier tasting foods.
Cast Iron Skillet
Ingredients
1 Tbsp Of Butter
1/4 Tsp Of Salt
Ground Beef
Brioche Buns
Bayley Hazen Blue Cheese
Wild Blueberry Preserve
Instructions
Step 1. In a cast iron skillet melt the 1 Tbsp of butter.
Step 2. Form the burger patties and season with your salt and pepper.
Step 3. Place your patties into the cast iron skillet using a medium heat and cook on each side for 4 (medium rare)to 5 (medium) minutes or until inside temperature reaches 130-135(medium rare) 140 to 145(medium) degree Fahrenheit. Do not press in the burger when you flip them if you do so the juices from the burgers will escape.
Step 4. Use low broil setting in the oven and place the buns in the oven until golden, but stay close and keep an eye on them so they do not burn.
Step 5. Spread the Bayley Hazen Blue on top of the burger patty and spread the Blueberry Preserve on the top and bottom of the bun.
Step 6. Finish your burger build and enjoy!
